Anya, the famous mime of Paris, wanted to add her own sparkle to Valentines Day this year. I jumped on board and we did an awesome shoot with the aim of depicting what it is truly like to be single in this city full of smokers, hopeless lovers, dog poop, and light. haha! xoxox Happy Valentines Day from us.
I’m still taking photos in Paris, whenever I can (which to be honest is far and few between these days!) BUT I got the opportunity to shoot my petite Marseillaise - la danseuse talentueuse, Armande - for her auditions. T’was my first time shooting headshots, but we had tons of fun and they didn’t come out half bad if I do say so myself!
It’s cheesy, but the Eiffel Tower is probably my favorite thing about Paris. Regardless of how many times I’ve seen it, she just never gets old. I had some of the au pairs of Au Pair, Oh Paris model for me as I tested out my new camera on the classic Rue de l’Université. Thanks Liv, Cate, and Maddie!
I have awesome friends and sometimes, those awesome friends let me take pictures and experiment with my new camera with them. I took Tess’s headshots this weekend during my visit to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Between the laughing, jam sessions, running, and ice cream eating - we were able to get a nice photo session in there. ;)
Love you Tess!!!
I am a very body-positive photographer. So, the moment Tiana told me she wanted to do a semi-nude shoot I was all for it! It's important to love every aspect, every curve and every nook of the human body. It's such a sacred, special vessel we all have and this shoot was a reminder of that, spent with such a special and bold soul who was up for anything!
I got to spend a few weeks this summer working and taking pictures of Chris Littlefield - a fellow #TarHeel - and his Bee Farm on Block Island, Rhode Island. After seeing the hard work and gorgeous process of harvesting honey, I think it's so funny that so many of us are afraid of bees! They are truly magical insects. Enjoy this gallery of the Littlefield Bee Farm.
