A few words on the seasons of body love and where I am right now! I find it so important to continue to share my story, not only for me but for people out there to realise that there are not alone! <3
Although I am perpetually single, I am a big fan of love. AND my dearest and longest and most plentiful friend just asked me to be her Maid-of-Honor! June Wedding couldn’t come faster (but not too fast, we got things to do and to plan!) It was the first of many honors to take their engagement photos!
It’s been a long time since I’ve thought or put a pen to how I feel about life and love. It seems like love is like water in your palm. It feels like can catch it and hold it in your hand and each time you think it’s safe, but you open your palm to see that you’ve failed, yet again, to obtain the delicate balance of a relationship.
Posting this in 2019, but written in 2018. I recently stumbled upon this note in my phone… It is a letter which I wrote to myself right before graduating from college. Now, a year out, as it turns out I have a lot to learn from my past self and I thank her for writing this piece. Beautiful reminder as I plunge into my second year post-grad!
Anya, the famous mime of Paris, wanted to add her own sparkle to Valentines Day this year. I jumped on board and we did an awesome shoot with the aim of depicting what it is truly like to be single in this city full of smokers, hopeless lovers, dog poop, and light. haha! xoxox Happy Valentines Day from us.
I’m still taking photos in Paris, whenever I can (which to be honest is far and few between these days!) BUT I got the opportunity to shoot my petite Marseillaise - la danseuse talentueuse, Armande - for her auditions. T’was my first time shooting headshots, but we had tons of fun and they didn’t come out half bad if I do say so myself!
